a long run on Sunday and according to my plan today should be a day off.  But I want tomorrow off instead. yesterday's employee wellness coaching session (I got a new one, her name is also Michelle) we talked about training for the half marathon.  I told her I'd like to first, be able to run the whole time especially so with wine, food and tables covered with yummy cookies.  I ate a 1/2 slice of Papa Murphy's chicken garlic pizza before leaving home.  I looked up the NI and I think my 1/2 slice was probably about 250 calories.

On Tuesday I did 25 minutes on the bike followed by chest and triceps.  I've really been working on my pushups. On Thursday I cut my thumb while cooking.  I cut it so bad I thought I'd need to go to urgent care but it stopped bleeding and seemed fine.  Still, no gym for me.  On Friday I wasn't sure if I could lift weights with my thumb so I took a pass on getting up at the crack of dawn to hit the gym.  Bummer. I could tell I had gotten some rest, in general my body felt ready and able to tackle my workout.  My back felt pretty good too, I only noticed a couple very slight twinges of pain during the entire workout.  I did c25k Week 3/Day 4 and it was a challenge but not painful.
