On some of the weigh-in days I linked to a favorite post written about my weight at that time.
I'm 5'5", for height/weight reference.

Love your blog. I'm curious about how tall you are. We look very similar body types and I share your goal of 145 (though would settle for how great you looked at 160!). I currently weigh in at about 191 or so. I've just moved to Rome, Italy and am starting a blog of my own. Found yours while looking for encouragement. Thanks! Deanna
ReplyDeleteThanks Deanna. I'm 5'5", thanks for the reminder, I'll post that at the top now.
DeleteI think what you are doing is inspirational and should be shared with all who deal with issues of weight and image. Congrats.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tony!
DeleteWhat I notice about your weight is that you steadily went down. I can't seem to stay on track long enough to keep my number going down. I did Jenny C. a while back and lost and was motivated. It is so expensive I continue to try and lose on my own. Not working. Good job maintaining!!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I did steadily go down but with a lot of little jumps up or staying even. It's true, I don't think I ever faced a huge plateau. For much of that I was going to Weight Watchers meetings and preparing my own food. $40 a month is way cheaper than buying JC food.
DeleteI have enjoyed your post. Your journey is inspiring. I know how much commitment it took for you to stay on track. I also know all too well that maintenance is just as or more difficult a task! I encourage you to keep posting and tell all. Your active life is surely a benefit as well. So it is time to step up and make my own commitment. It is a life time change that I desire not just a quick 20 lb loss. Here I go!!
ReplyDeleteThere you go Jill! Lifetime change is worth putting effort into.
Deletewow, that a lot of weight record list! By the way, I'm Laura and my experience on was that after I had my second daughter I was frustrated and depressed about the way my body looked and felt.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't get back to where I was. I started to look for a way to get in shape and shed those unwanted pounds from pregnancy but going to the gym was not in the budget at the time.
I began my fitness journey just 3 years ago. On July 4, 2010 I began a weight loss Challenge which changed my life. I felt great.
How nice. You are so consistent and so much eager to reach your goal by setting up this daily list. Can you share your diet and exercise routine each day?
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing and inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI too am an avid maintainer and blog at http://www.thepaintomaintain.blogspot.co.uk
I'll check it out Amanda. Thanks for reading.
